Configure Filter Options
The Filter Options tab allows you to control when and to whom your offer is available based on time, user authentication status, existing plans, and location.
To access filter configuration, navigate to your offer and click the 'Filter Options' tab.
Along the left-hand side you'll see the four filter criteria:
Time Range
Allows you to configure when an offer is valid from and valid to, along with setting the time zone or choosing to use the local time of the user. For example, offer valid until 4pm local time vs 4pm GMT.
Offers cannot be redeemed outside of their validity period.
User Type
Allows you to target specific users based on their authentication status: all users, anonymous users, or authenticated users.
For example, a register offer would only be relevant to an anonymous user, so would be filtered to only be available to anonymous users.
Plans
Allows you to set who will see this offer based on their existing plans. You can configure offers to show to users who have specific plan(s) or hide offers from users with specific plan(s).
Who will see this offer
When you add plans to this section, the offer will be shown to users who have any of the specified plans. For example, if you add "Basic" and "Pro", users with either the Basic plan or the Pro plan will see the offer.
If no plans are specified in this section, the offer is always valid (unless the user is excluded by a plan in the "Who will not see this offer" section).
Who will not see this offer
When you add plans to this section, the offer will be hidden from users who have any of those plans. Plan exclusion takes precedence over inclusion - if a user's plans would both include and exclude them from seeing an offer, the offer will be hidden.
Please note: Plan filtering only works in access checks and surface decisions. It does not apply in other contexts.
Location
Lets you target an offer to be available only to users from a specific country.
Once done, click 'Update'.
Next Steps
Now that your offer is fully configured, it must be added to an Offer Group to be displayed to users.
