Manage a Surface

To edit a surface or its components, navigate to the Surfaces section, found in the left-hand navigation menu.

Here you will find a list of your existing surfaces. The list view will include columns for name & description, slug, type, brands, and any available actions.

You can also locate surface and component workflows in the Workflows section of the app.

Editing a Surface

To edit a surface, locate it in your surfaces list, then click the 'Edit' icon in the actions column.

This will bring up the same screen you used to configure your surface. This screen has three tabs: Components, Workflow, and Manage Surface.

• Use the Components tab to manage the surface's components, including adding new components, editing existing components and their workflows, or deleting components.
• Use the Workflow tab to view a preview of your workflow, enable or disable the workflow, edit the workflow, and delete the workflow.
• Use the Manage Surface tab to update the name, slug, description, type, and linked brands of your surface.

Deleting a Surface

To delete a surface, locate it in your surfaces list, then click the 'Delete' icon in the actions column.

You will be prompted to confirm you wish to remove the surface. This action cannot be undone.

To continue, click 'Delete'. Otherwise, click 'Cancel'.

Please note: Adding, editing, or deleting surfaces will initially take place only in your Preview environment. To push changes to Live you will need to create a new version and publish that version to your Live environment. For more information, see our Environments guide.
